The OEN Biodiversity Committee supports the United Nations Convention on Biological diversity and its application to Canada and the Province of Ontario. The Committee will liaise and/or work with the Montreal-based secretariat for the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Canadian Environmental Network Biodiversity Caucus, the Ontario Biodiversity Council, Emerging Leaders for Biodiversity, and the Canadian Youth Biodiversity Network. You can access these via Links.
The Committee will be developing goals and objectives over the summer of 2020. One key aspect of the Committee will be to encourage youth to become associates of the OEN will serving as an optional induction point to the OEN, its work, and links in particular to Emerging Leaders for Biodiversity and the Canadian Youth Biodiversity Network.
Please register for the OEN newsletter and/or check here later for updates.
